Lawler-White Sculpture Studios, Inc. was formed on January 1, 2000 by Don Lawler and Meg White with the exclusive purpose of the creation of monumental-scale sculptures for the public domain. Each of the artists also produce their own body of work outside of the corporate collaborations; which includes public art as well as private commissions. These personal works are a result of the exclusive effort of that individual artist.

Don Lawler grew up in the rural farm land near Brandenburg, Kentucky. He recieved his BFA from Centre College of Danville, Kentucky in 1983. After graduation, Don moved to Mt. Shasta California but returned to Kentucky in 1985. Don held apprenticeships in Louisville Kentucky with the bronze sculptor Barney Bright and then the stone Sculptor Paul Fields from 1986 thru 1989. In 1990, Don returned to rural Meade County Kentucky and began the full-time creation of stone sculptures.

Meg White grew up in the suburban neighborhood of Silver Hills in New Albany, Indiana. Meg is a self-taught sculptor who discovered the three dimensional process thru paper sculpture. She was a free-lance commercial artist from 1987 thru 1991; using her paper sculpture as the primary medium. Her clients included Sesame Street, General Electric, Chi-Chi's and Gibson Cards. In 1991, Meg discovered stone carving at Don's studio and began to create wildlife and figurative works on a full-time basis. Meg now produces limited edition bronzes as well as small and monumental-scale works in stone.

In 1997, Don and Meg moved the sculpture studio to a larger location near the Yellowbank Wildlife Management Area in Breckinridge County Kentucky. These improved facilities feature a 6 acre sculpture garden nestled in a large expanse of woods and over-looking the Ohio River.
