This is one restless sculpture, because it move again on May 15. It is now inside the studio and turned 180 degrees around.
These views show that a major portion of the surface areas have been considered.
The waist of the sculpture has been thinned and some of the chisel texture has been applied to help me see the curves of the form. There is still a lot of thinning and refining needed for the final form. It's the refinement of the intertwining forms that will eventually lend the sculpture Grace.
The intertwining forms are receiving more attention with every new day. There is a constant flux of change and refining that is occuring as the forms move to their appropriate place in the depth of the dimensions within the block.

I have cut the bottom 3 blocks of the sculpture. The 2 higher blocks are twisted from the orientation of the base block.
The askew alignment of the blocks are meant to help move the viewers eye around the sculpture. It also alludes to the power of the growing organic form that pushes the man-made objects aside as it grows - like the Strangler Figs in ancient stone ruins.
